Lync on Mac 10.8 fails to join meetings

Hello all,

I'm facing an issue since upgrading from OS X 10.6 to 10.8 that the Lync client 14.0.2 frequently fails to join meetings. If I retry enough times, usually I'm able to finally join. I rely on Lync meetings multiple times every day so this is a big issue for me. Here's the error message I get:

"Unable to connect. Try connecting to the online meeting by using the web browser that is currently open."

Any ideas?
