Domain A- lync 2010 and exchange 2010 (resource forest?)- migrated users over, now linked users. smtp address but NO sip under exchange property.
created separate AD accounts for each user, in AD it has the same smtp address. the first name is different but the display name matches the exchange object. ENABLED lync for this second object.
user are now stating the lync clients are not updating when the have mtg ( to busy/ red).
Domain b- just AD with file server permission - no exchange or lync.
"from what i remember exchange 2007 and OCS was unable to even see the disabled account, but the lync 2010 admin interface can see the disabled/linked account in AD, and give an sip to that account"
Not sure why my company created the two separate accounts.
how do i fix this now?
