I have a couple of users with Windows 7 Pro 32bit, IE9 and Lync/Office 2010 that have a really strange issue when completing a phone call with Lync Phone Intergration turned on. When they hang up their desk phones, their Lync program freezes, which also freezes internet explorer for some reason. They have to task kill Lync before Internet Explorer will resume working. I have applied all of the latest patches to Lync that I can client side. Could there be something on the server that may need patching? I'm just a desktop technician, and the regular fixes I try have not worked (such as uninstalling/reinstalling).
