Can I run Lync for Win8 non full screen?

Hi,

I downloaded Lync for Win8 the other day and found that it is a full screen app. This seems completely daft to me, it is essentially a chat program, chat programs should not be full screen, you want to be able to do other things while still being able to see your chat, or vice versa. Is there any way to run Lync on Win8 not full screen?
