I'm working for an organisation that recently deployed Lync, but is unfortunately not Mac friendly.
My problem is that I have a Mac - of course - and can't get my Lync for Mac client to log in. I'm also running Windows on a Virtual Machine on the same hardware, and I was able to get that to connect just fine. Computers are required to join an Active Directory domain.
I was able to find out how to join an AD Domain on my Mac, and have done so, but even so Lync still won't connect.
On both automatic and manually specifying the internal/external servers, it gives the error:
"Sign in to Microsoft Lync failed because the service is not available or you may not be connected to the Internet."
