Who the hell decided to make Lync 2013 this horrible??? Is there too much communication going on so we made it horrible to pipe down all this needless chatter??
- I can change the font, per session or overall, to - let's say - purple.
I can change the font, per session but notoverall, to bold or italic. It's exactly the same window though but just two buttons missing. - I can no longer attach a file, I can only drag-and-drop them!
- Each new chat box opens in the same unfriendly size, even after resizing previously.
- The smileys look like crap!
- Why do all Microsoft application return to monochrome behaviour? We all have so many colours on our screens and you turn to maybe 4 in an application. For ***'s sake, what for!!??
- Visual Studio 2012 is just as horrible!! I am soooooooooo glad to have NiceVS and 'Visual Studio Color Theme Editor ... they make it workable and less painful to the brain!
Please make a clear separation between fancy (like Lync maybe) and professional (like Visual Studio definitely!) applications. The first might benefit form a graphical overhaul from time-to-time. The second doesn't need trends or themes or other fancy stuff. It just needs to do it's job, please concentrate on that! Forget about the looks!
