I have tried many different solutions to resolve this issue, but none have worked.

1. recreated Outlook profile

2. repaired .PST and .OST files, as per one of our server admins

3. uninstalled/reinstalled including removing registry entries, as per an article i found online

4. switched to another machine, fresh install (twice now, so has occurred on 3 different newly-imaged machines)

5. exported, deleted, recreated contacts

6. as far as I know, I am the only user having this issue

The crash happens randomly, but I am always in Outlook when Lync crashes.  Usually it happens when I click on a different message than the one I was reading.  When I click on the next message, Lync crashes.

The other articles that I've found related to Lync crashing do not reference the UC.DLL file.

Appreciate any suggestions to resolve this very frustrating issue.

Thanks,
