Lync Voice - how to best handle Functional/Service Extensions

We have a requirement for a few Extensions to be used for a Service. Could someone please confirm I'm on the correct track or is there better ways to achieve this please?

EG1) an extension to call & leave a message- with pre-announcement.

EG2) an extension to be use as a contact point with redirection/forward for an On-Call
person, where the On-Call person will change weekly.

3) How to managed/login & out of a Response Group remotely for App access?

1) I'd setup an Functional/Service AD account with email. Add the Lync account. Use a Response
Group to add the pre-announcement. Calls into the Extension would hit announcement
& any message left would go to shared mailbox under outlook for retrieval.

2) Create AD account for On-Call Service extension. Sign-in as that AD account - Set the
forward to the Mobile of the person whos On-Call. Every time the On-Call person
changes, the Service account will need to be signed into & Forward changed.

Cisco Call Manager has a User’s Extension portal for this - no such thing in Lync?

3) Can the Lync Smartphone app be used to login-out of a Response Group or can only be
done on PC Client?
