We are running Lync 2010 Enterprise. Everytime our Lync users are outside of our network and they log in to their Lync client, they get a pop-up window asking for credentials. When they log into Lync inside our network the Lync client connects automatically without asking for credentials. Is this normal behavior? I assumed that the Lync client would behave exactly no matter where they were connecting from. They are using Lync 2010 client on domain joined laptops, I would assume the Lync client would just use the same credentials they used to log in to their computers and not ask for anything. Please let me know if there is a way to stop the pop-up from showing up when people try to connect to Lync from outside our network.
