Have been trying for a week now to get Lync for Mac working for phone calls, but it doesn't work. When I call someone, they hear me, but I don't hear them. I have tried the same USB device (GN9330) on Lync/Windows and it works great. I have made sure that the GN9330 sound devices are chosen in Mac OSX's system prefs --> sound, and when I play sound from another app (ie. youtube), it works well. It appears that only Lync for Mac has the problem.
How to debug this?
(As a side note, I am disappointed with the quality of Lync for Mac. Just yesterday I had to spend an hour getting past the EXC_BAD_ACCESS bug (removing the unknown certificate), because Lync for Mac didn't work with OSX 10.7.2 update. There are missing features like tag for status change, audio device wizard, etc... not good)
