New install of Lync for Mac 2011 (14.3.3.160216) constantly crashes

I have new Mac Pro running El Capitan 10.11.4

I have never had Lync installed before, this is not an update or upgrade but a fresh clean install on a brand new Mac.

Every time I attempt to sign in Lync it crashes and forces a relaunch
