Request for tool that will remove the Lync duplicate contacts folder (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2916650)

We have Lync 2013 and Skype for business clients in our environment. we are supporting about 17,000 users. We came to know that older lync clients generate duplicate contacts. Therefore we have suggested to upgrade the lync clients to the latest version. However we would like to clean up all the old contacts synced from the user mailbox. Came across this KBASE- https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2916650 further. Please help to get the tool for removing the Lync contacts.
