Office Version: Office 2010
Operating System: Windows 7
Communicator is configured to save conversation history in Outlook. Periodically, I get the message: "This conversation is being saved in the Conversation History folder in your Outlook mailbox." Nevertheless, nothing is being saved. Co-workers with the same environment are successful. When I was on XP I was successful.
I would appreciate any suggestions on getting this to work.
Configuration:
- Tools -> Options... Personal: 'Save my instant message conversations in the Outlook Conversation History folder' is checked
- However, 'File -> Save as E-Mail' is greyed out (not so for co-workers)
- I have a single Exchange account
- I do not see any applicable GPO, but don't know exactly what I should be looking for here
Software:
- Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
- Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 Version 3.5.6907.206
- Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 (64 bit)
Things I've done:
- Applied Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 Hotfix KB 2028888
- Ran 'Repair' on Office
- Created (not copied) a new Outlook profile (much pain, still suffering; no joy)
References I've seen:
- People with a similar problem
