Hello. Whenever I attempt to attach a Skype invitation to an Outlook meeting, I receive the following error:
"Create Skype Meeting failed. Please make sure that Skype for Business is running and signed-in and try again."
When I go to Skype and click the gear/settings icon, and then click Meet Now, I get the error:
"An error occurred during the Skype Meeting"
Clicking that link, yields a dialog box:
"An error occurred during the Skype Meeting. The action couldn't be completed. Please try again later.".
Our IT has reinstalled office. It didn't help. It used to work on my previous Windows 7 laptop. Nothing as far as I know has changed regarding my domain setup. However, since there is a new PC image, could something be wrong with my local settings? The outlook plugin is enabled, so is the VBA plugin. This also occurs when invoked from Skype directly so I don't think Outlook is the issue.
I have verified that the VBA plugin for Outlook is running; though, I had to change the startup behavior to ensure this. However, since the error occurs directly from Skype, there is probably something else wrong.
Edit - I enabled logs and receive the following logs when trying to Meet Now:
