Mac 2011 Lync Client not Quitting

Hello,

I recently installed Lync 2011 on my Mac.  The problem, however, is that when I quit the application it doesn't totally quit.  When I go to shutdown or restart I need to manually Force Quit Lync before being able to do so.  Is there any way to fix this?
