Lync 2013 Client - Distribution Group too large to display?

Hi all,

Recently encountered error about DG being too large with +100 members? Tried some of the solutions here but didn't work, namely:

And the other one regarding editing the registry (although that was for OCS 2007)..

Any other help and solutions?
