User wishes to disable contacts Avator/Picture

I have a different request from the normal requests where people wish to have more control of "displaying" their avator/picture in Lync,Outlook etc..

But what about the contacts you have in Lync and Outlook. Is their away to block or control the picture of a contact you have? Where if that contacts picture is distracting or just marketing you would want to disable it for the normal default view.
