We are currently testing Lync Server 2013 with Lync Basic 2013 as our client. I've had a couple of our test users report that when using the presentation features, Lync begins to grab a lot of memory. This is expected when doing these kinds of things. They problem is that when they stop presenting and end the chat, Lync isn't giving that memory back. We have sufficient memory in our machines that its not that big a deal, but we also have some users that run applications that use a lot of memory. We are wanting to make sure that we don't run into issues if and when we push this out to the entire company. Is this a known issue? Is there a patch or anything that gets Lync to release the memory it uses for sharing after the sharing session is over?
