We have a user who got married. When we search for her by her new last name, she does not come up. When we search for her by her maiden name, she comes up. Her AD account name was changed a number of weeks ago.
In the Lync admin, her name is listed with her married name. I tried running Update-CsUserDatabase and Update-CsAddressBook but nothing has changed. Waited until the next morning after overnight processes ran on the Lync server but still nothing is changed.
How can I fix this issue? Can I manually update her Lync account in Lync database?
Also, I have been asked if it possible to have users searchable in Lync by both their married name and maiden name. Is this possible? We are a fairly large organization and people may not know the person's name has changed.
