Lync 2013 disable taskbar blinking for alerts?

In Lync 2013, is there any way to disable the blinking task bar when IMs come in?  It's really quite annoying to have that icon blinking *all the time* while you have an IM chat session open and you're working in a different window.  

I suspect that the answer is "no" so --> *FEATURE REQUEST* could you add the ability to disable the blinking task bar?  Let me choose how I want to use the Lync client rather than *forcing* me to be a slave to the blinking alerts of this app.  That blinking taskbar is annoying and blocks me from concentrating.
