Microsoft Lync 2013 intigration failure into Outlook 2010

Recently i have encountered the following problem in our company.

The setup is as followed:

We use MS Office 2010 for Excel, Word & Outlook
We use MS Lync 2013

When i deploy new computers this setup usually works fine.

Once in a while i encountered the following problem:

After installing Lync 2013 on the computer, i launch the application and sign in with the new users credentials.
I start up outlook to see if the connection between the two programs is working.
Outlook 2010 doesn't detect the Lync 2013 client.
I can see this by checking the downright corner of outlook, when Lync is connected you are able to see your frequent contacts at this spot. This does not show up and tells me beforehand that something is wrong.
Lync starts popping up infront of any program, as if it is trying to connect to something and needs my attention.
When i go to the calendar in Outlook 2010 and want to create a new meeting, Outlook hangs. It freezes up for about 10 minutes before the new meeting window pops up.
When i want to create a Lync Meeting through Outlook, it hangs for a good 10 minutes and then tells me "Create Lync Meeting failed. Please make sure that Microsoft Lync is running and signed-in and try again."

For some reason Outlook isn't seeing Lync and Lync isn't seeing Outlook. Something went wrong with the communication between these two.
When i disable the Lync Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Lync 2013 in Outlook 2010, creating a meeting works OK, but of course i can't create a Lync meeting when this add-in is disabled.

I have already tried the following things:

Uninstalling MS Office and MS Lync completely and reinstalled MS Office first, Lync next. With the approriate reboots after each uninstall/install.
Deleting the e-mail profile and Lync profile from the system.
Trying a different user on the computer.

All of these did not fix the problem.
However... A complete format and reinstall of the OS has fixed this issue.

Because this is not really a fix and i can't be arsed to format and reinstall the OS on all of these computers, i came here to see if there might be another possibility.

Kind regards,

Charlene
