I've noticed something with the Windows 8 Lync MX (windows RT/Metro/Store) client, and call an application that expects DTMF (as a Lync call) the dial pad won't be activated if the user is not enabled for enterprise voice. Does this strike anyone else as a bug? If I'm making Lync->UCMA calls, then I should be able to pass DTMF input to an app, right? There isn't anywhere that we can submit feedback like this to the client team, is there?
Anyway, just in case you're testing with this client (currently the easiest way to run 2 instances of lync on the same machine BTW), keep this bug in mind.
Of course, if anyone manages to figure out a workaround to get the dial pad option to display regardless of the user's EV status (since it shouldn't be a dependency), I'd love to know about it.
