I am trying to use Lync 2013 on Surface Pro 3 i7 256 docked with 2 additional external monitors. The display on Surface pro 3 has a much greater DPI than the monitors so moving Lync between the displays requires dynamic scaling to work. Initial installation of Office 2013, with Lync, works great. When moving Lync from the Surface display to monitor it scales as expected. However, as soon as Office SP1 is installed, Lync no longer scales. It looks great on the surface but looks cartoonish on the monitors. If you go to the lync.exe properties and disable scaling there is no change. I can uninstall Office and re-install it again, it works as expected. Unfortunately, I can't continue to use it in a work environment without the appropriate updates installed.
Has anyone else seen this issue with Lync and dynamic scaling. Any ideas what I can do to trouble shoot this further or better yet, is there an answer to make it work again?
