Microsoft Lync 2013 Client - lync.exe - Entry Point Not Found

Hi

I have the latest MS Lync 2013 client installed on my machine, along with other suite of 2013 apps. Machine is on Windows 7 Professional 32-bit

Whenever I try to launch the client, I get a error "lync.exe - Entry Point Not Found" as attached

Out IT department has tried all the steps of re-installing the client, check system integrity (SFC) check, none of this seem to fix this issue.

Does anyone know how to fix this? 

Any responses / inputs are much appreciated.
