Hello,
I have just finished deploying Lync Enterprise 2010 and have issues with external auto-login to the Lync client.
My topology is:
1. Frontend server
1. Mediation
1. Archiving and monitoring Server
1. Edge
1. TMG
The URLs I have created are:
Phone: dialin.domain.com
Meeting: meet.domain.com
Administrative Access: https://admin.domain.local
SIP Access: sip.domain.com
Web Conferencing: webcon.domain.com
A/V Service: av.domain.com
Internal Web Service: intwebsrv01.domain.local
External Web Service: extwebsrv01.domain.com
I also created the following internal DNS record: _sipinternaltls._tcp.domain.local and pointed it to the FQDN of the lync frontend pool - lyncpool01.domain.local
As for external DNS records:
meet.domain.com, sip.domain.com, extwebsrv01.domain.com, av.domain.com, webcon.domain.com, dialin.domain.com also _sip._tcp.domain.com (sip.domain.com) and _sip._tls.domain.com (sip.domain.com).
When I am trying to test the connection from Lync client, I'm getting error: Cannot sign in because server is temporarily unavailable error in Lync.
So I have checked the event logs and found out that the client is trying to access: sipexternal.domain.com and sipinternal.domain.com.
So why do I need to create those 2 dns records and if I do need them, to where exactly I need to point them and where in the Topology I need to assign them?
Thanks,
Tomer
