So we are running a VDI environment and I have setup the master template with Lync. The admin account is fine and everything is setup so Lync is installed but it doesn't come up unless I click on the icon. The problem is when other people login with their account Lync automatically starts and shows that grey box of "installing" or configuring then the client pops up, with that annoying splash screen.
I want to get it so it does not do that installing and configuring and that there is just an icon on the desktop and if the user wants to login they can just double-click it. I tried doing the regedit. and also I installed the GPO ADM and disabled the Lync to run at startup but it still comes up.
Any suggestions?
