CX600 Sign-in problems after Root CA Change

Hi,

We are currently in the process of upgrading our server infrastructure, as part of the process we've created a new CA server in anticipation of removing the old one.

We've re-issued the certificates for Front End Services, Edge Services, Gateways, and Office Web Apps. Everything is working fine under the new certs with one exception - our CX600 phones.

DHCP options aside, we are having problems signing into the phones even when using the USB tethering mode. The additional credential box pops up on the screen, but the phone will fail with a 'Failed to log-in due to an internal error' message. The synthetic test-csphonebootstrap testing comes back ok, although this is largely irrelevant given sign in doesn't work with USB tethering.

The following actions have been performed;

- Hard reset on the phone
- Factory reset on the phone
- Deleted User certificate via Lync control panel
- Removed user certificate from personal cert store on pc
- Upgraded firmware to latest versions
- Attempted both non-tethered and tethered sign in
- Deleted local Lync profile from app data directory
- Ensured new root cert is available on local machine

Strangely enough one or two phones are working - but it doesn't seem possible to get the others to sign in successfully since introducing the new CA and changing all the certs over.

Can anyone advise on this?

Thanks in advance.
